Physical Attributes: Unlike most stones, the colour revealed from Labradorite does not come from light exposed from the surface of the stone. Instead, the range of colours that are seen is actually caused by light reflecting off of a twinning surface within this mineral. The differentiation in colours depends on the type of twinning surface that the light is coming off of. Usually clear, white, or grey in reflected light. Labradorescent colours can include blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, and red.
